Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
I was reading Psalm 142 this morning and I was struck by verse 7. "The righteous will surround me, for you will deal bountifully with me." I found great comfort in those verses. God IS a faithful God; He will not forsake us! He has been faithful before and will be faithful again and again! Read verse 3 of the hymn:
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
