One little sentence (actually one section of a sentence) changed the whole make up of our country; it changed so many lives. For some, it meant a freedom up to that time untasted. For others, it meant the removal of livelihood and property. I can only imagine how many families it broke up and lives it destroyed. Ten simple words, which ring in such joy and sorrow, can change a nation. Isn't that amazing?
