My family has lately settled down in the evenings to enjoy the wit and charm of A&E's adaptation of Jeeves and Wooster, stories created by P.G. Wodehouse. How I have lived thus far without Wooster's frivolous friends (bearing nick-names like Gussie Fink-Nottle and Barmy Fungy-Phipps) or Jeeves' dry, "feudal spirit" and abhorrence of trendy fashion, I will never understand.
Below is one of my (many) favorite clips from the series. Though difficult to see in this YouTube version, Jeeves' persistence with the respectful title, "sir," forces a laugh out of me every time.
