We defer repentance to some future time, because we love sin.
This quote was part of an exercise in my grammar book this morning, and I thought it was too important not to share! Isn't this so true? Even though our conscience has been pricked, we continue in sin because we love it so much! Oh, that God would grant us a righteous hatred for the sins of this world! Let us "pray that we may not enter into temptation," but that we would honor and obey the Lord our God in all that we do.
